There is a near unlimited amount of video content out there: 24/7 news channels, breaking news events, sports, talk shows, awards galas, entertainment shows, and so much more. Especially in today’s fast-paced environment, it’s hard to wade through everything to find the moments that matter most.

SnapStream is based in Houston, TX. We’re a team of news-junkies, cinephiles, media aficionados, and wannabe live streaming influencers who are all really good at what we do and come together to do work that we love.

Bayou City Classic 5k: We love hanging out together even outside of work. Here's team SnapStream participating in the Houston Bayou City Classic 5k.
Nerf Battle: For one of our employee's 10 year anniversary, we set up a Nerf Battle in the office which included a complete obstacle course.

SnapStream Headquarters We moved to a brand new office in the heart of Houston's Historic Sixth Ward.

Rice Chili Cook-off: We spooned up some summer interns at Rice University's Chili Cook-Off, a career fair of sorts. As you can see, we like to recruit 'em early! These boys will start in summer 2032.
World's Largest DVR: SnapStream showcased its advanced TV recording and search technology with a 50-channel TV search engine. Our World's Largest DVR, which can archive 13 years worth of TV content, scored the praises of Engadget and Gizmodo.
June 2007: The first Enterprise TV Search Appliance shipped.
December 2004: Microsoft's Bill Gates, Intel's Paul Otellini and Intel's Craig Barrett showcased SnapStream's consumer product, Beyond TV, which earned PC Magazine's "Product of the Year 2004" award.

As Founder and CEO, Rakesh Agrawal is the driving force behind SnapStream. A self-described news junkie, he has evolved SnapStream from its origins as a pioneering DVR product to an indispensable video search, clipping, and publishing solution that empowers digital storytellers around the world. He is also a direct investor in 100+ early stage software and life science companies and a limited partner in a variety of venture capital and cryptocurrency hedge funds. Rakesh serves on the boards of Houston Exponential and the Post Oak School and holds Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from Rice University in Houston, TX.

Tom Cabanski is a high-energy hands-on leader, agile developer, cloud architect and entrepreneur with a successful track record of growing successful businesses. He has made a positive impact across a variety of industries including e-commerce, retail, supply chain and SaaS in software engineering, consulting and executive leadership roles over his nearly 40-year career.
VP of Marketing
Sarah Eck is a seasoned strategic marketer, with nearly 20 years of experience building successful brands in the tech, cybersecurity, business aviation, and CPG industries. A graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, she has a passion for consumer behavior, compelling content, and powerful storytelling.
Senior Product Manager
An engineer turned product guy, Monty brings experience ranging from large scale projects for the Department of Defense to smaller 20-person startups. He is passionate about building great products and delivering compelling stories that connect with audiences.
Accounting Manager
Josie Munoz joined SnapStream more than a decade ago to build out the accounting function and develop a world-class team. With a degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Houston, she has been instrumental in the company's continued financial growth.
Advisor
With extensive experience as an operator and investor in early-stage technology companies, JR is focused on transforming visions into realities. Since May 2019 he has worked with SnapStream leadership to drive strategic evolution and company growth.
